That's my reserved vacation time at work. I have one in June, that one in July, two in August and one in November.

I'm riding as part of Team Navy again this year.
Because of the weather and work, however, I'm relying heavily on the 5000' of altitude advantage I have rather than any serious riding this year. :twitchy:

My daughter and I are doing our first RAGBRAI this year. My weenie brother is doing the last 3 days. All the other assorted siblings, in laws, nieces and nephews that waxed rhapsodic about our big family team have crapped out completely. At this point, we're a one tent show, and we hooked up with the Pork Bellies charter group.
We're in it for the pork chops and pie, primarly

Me, specifically, sure... but even with only 30 or so of us, we've had folks come find someone on the team and either meet up or get a message to one of us. So even among the other 14K or so, it's not all that crazy!

The weather is amazing in Iowa this summer. Humidity is much lower than usual.

Hope everyone had as much fun on the RAGBRAI as I did! It was my first year and I'll definitely sign up again next year. Skiahh, I think the Air Force team had you Navy dudes out numbered! I saw a couple of the Navy jersey's but was never able to chat with anyone. bummer.

Another first timer here, and I will definitely do it again. What an unbelievable experience. And it just hit me this morning, that it was my daughter's first group ride. Might as well start with a big one.
