this event is intended for motorcycles but we are crashing it. i am sure they will love to have us there and will love to bless our bikes. there will be a BBQ, raffle and live music! this bar is great and the ride will be even better.

there are two starting points for this ride. the first will meet at 1030 at triangle square in costa mesa. from there we will ride to the new shopping center (el toro rd. & rockfield dr.) and then we will all ride together to cooks corner. if you ride from triangle square the start time is 11am. if you want to take the sissy route from the new shopping center you will start at noon.

Way back in '82? , my dad & I did the sissy ride from the shopping center to Cook's Corner. That was pre-yuppie Harley rider days, when Cook's corner meant something. We were the only bicyclists present. Got a lot of strange looks.

I now live in Costa Mesa. Might just join in, seeing how lasped of a Catholic I am.

"father james of st. michael's abbey."

i don't care either way. i just want to see the look on the bikers' faces when we all show up.
