Why did people go back to checkered design even after the other design won in the poll? Strange! I loved the design A and was hoping to get a jersey and perhaps a pair of bibs.

I think Blastradius explained it in his OUTLAW jersey post.
There's a number of folks that would like the Checkered jersey and
I'm willing to handle the order for it. Just PM me if you're interested.

(Since noone is stepping up to finalize the design and handle the order
for "Style A", I don't know if it'll ever get made. Sorry.)

Not sure that was an explanation other than since he is doing the work, he picked the style. I kind of understand in that it is a lot of work and trouble to do this. I would ask why there was an opinion poll based on several designs? If we were going to go with the checkered style why didn't someone just say so. :lol:

He also PM'd the people who appeared interested, asking if we we would buy the checkered jersey. Apparently he got enough interest.

Also, there were 2 designs that ended up being produced last year. So I wouldn't count out style A just yet. ;)

cgallah, you do have a point. But the explanation would be more like "I really want a checkered kit and if anyone else is crazy enough to want one too, I'll handle the order". :)

In the spirit of the vote, I will handle the order for the Official 2008 NorCal Jersey as well. I'm not sure the picture in the vote is the ultimate final design though. The owners of the design, mtnwalker and x136, will need to send me the final design files so I can get them to Champ-Sys.

Sorry if you guys feel like I hijacked the vote, but really I just wanted a checkered kit (that didn't have Peugeot or BP on it) :cry:.

To be honest - I'll buy the checkered one if that's the only one offered, but I would much prefer the poppy design if given the choice.

BR, Don't for one minute think you should have to step up and handle that other order. You stepped up for the first order and I know that was not easy. You stepped up for this one as well. I don't think you hijacked the order at all. You just exercised your executive options. ;) I think you should go ahead with your original order (checked) and if someone else wants to deal with the other order then so be it.

I'll buy both too - my newest short sleeve jersey is an old PenVelo one from about 2000.

So if Style A is back in as a possibility, RR and I both want a jersey. RR still wants to know if there is a womens specific pad in the shorts. I just don't do checkers very well. Anyone out there remember "The Checkered Demon"?

There is women's sizing in the shorts and bibs but I don't know if the pad/chamois is women specific. I'll ask Champ-Sys after the weekend. BTW, there isn't as yet a design for the short in the Style A (which I'll call Poppy Logo from now on) pattern.
