the new wombolts arent too bad. i guess they updated a bunch of things like the cluster nut.
and all we have near my house is this tiny little outdoor skatepark. basically consists of a 4 ft quarter, a little euro gap, and a 6ft quarter right next to a 4ft speed ramp. and then theres a random rail out in the middle of nowhere. its sad, but they let me in so its cool.

You can solve the skatepark problem by going when they aren't around, what do you think people would do in a town with like 4 skateparks that don't allow bmxers in do?

Heh, Dev, how old is that bike? My friend garbagepicked an old Dyno, and that's one of the only other times I've seen a bike w/ a surfer bar and a seat up that high.
Anyways... My cousin was riding my crappy Diamondback Viper X (Only costed around $200, I use it on the rare occasion I decide to ride the local trails, since my other bike weighs more than my car) at a Labor Day party and ended up bending the chainwheel. Would it be worth it to get a decent crank, or should I just go back to the store I bought it at and get the same crank/chainwheel the bike originally came with?

Thanks for the suggestions. Why exactly would you choose the wrap over the 6pack? or what about a kink whip?

whip

Why would you personally choose the kink whip over the the dk six pack and stolen wrap?

dont get the kink, the frame isnt full chromoly and its more then both the 6 - pack and wrap which are both solid bikes, choose either and you'll be happy.

Hey guys, I've been looking at BMX for a while now, and was interested in getting into it.
I'm about 6' tall and about 180-185 lbs. I was looking for a good beginner bike, preferably all chromo.
Here are some that I found around my area and was wondering whether it would be a good deal.

What all is necessary to assemble if you order a complete bike from danscomp?
this question was asked a while back, and i needed to know the answer cause my brother is gonna get a bike from dans soon. its all simple stuff. like the pedals, the bars, pegs, and i think the brakes too (if it even comes with brakes)

all right, thanks alot for the info on assembly! I should be able to get all that done easily enough, may need some help with the brakes but there is a bike shop near by that I can ride to.

sup, i was wondering if i should get the Blend Park or the Black Pearl 3
Or is there any newer better bikes coming out shortly i should wait for?
also just want to share this to see your thoughts upon it.
i haven't bmx for like 3 years now, last time i had a bike was when i was like 13, and i could barely do **** haha, i moved after so i gave my walmart bike away :p it was 200$ or something i think.
I'm 16 now and i really missed bmx only sport i really had any kick out of even though i was complete ****.
concerning the black pearl 3 and the blend park, i know that these are expensive bikes for people with skills, though i have NONE, is it a bad idea to buy these? i would get a 300$ bike but its the fact that its not worth it when i can afford starting with a better bike, and i bet a bunch of people would be pissed to see a noob with a badass bike, lmfao. but i really rather start of with one of these bikes or something because i don't see the point in spending a bit less for a different bike when you can afford one of these instead.
anyways thanks for your time :)

Get the one that looks better. I think the Blend looks better because it's different with the LHD. I would get it and then take the gyro off though.

Always check whether the site allows you to do a test ride before the purchase. This way, you would be able to find out the defects in the bike, if any.

Ok, who want's to help out here?
I'm completely new to BMX, so I have no clue whatsoever about good/bad brands and the likes.
I'm looking into buying my first BMX, and I would like to get pointed in the right direction.
Yeah, I read the first post, and I'm kinda going against what it says, but like I said, I'm completely new to BMX..
So. Budget of $450. Show me the way :P
Thanks, all help will be appreciated.
Luke.

stolen wrap is an excellent starter bike, especially at only $329. Full chromoly frame fork bars cranks, with sealed hubs and bottom bracket, integrated headset good rims, and a cassette rear hub. All with money to spare.
