After cracking up jsharr this morning I came into work and passed this guy on the highway:

His name is Jonathan "Joff" Summerfield and he's doing a world tour on a Penny Farthing? I'm not sure which is more amazing, but he has a website to check out: http://www.pennyfarthingworldtour.com/

What a cool day! :D

I wanna see him get a drink out of the bottle on the "downtube" while riding.

Pretty amazing stuff. Also like the website for the chef and the dog traveling on the motorcycle. That is pretty cool as well.

So did he come by you shop WB? Did you have a chance to speak much with him?

Yeah! Whats he like? He looks like a good guy, and his photography is pretty up to snuff too.

No doubt, seems he has death wish.

He did come by the shop but didn't talk much. He had that "I'm on a deathmarch" glaze often seen on ultra-endurance riders' faces.

He was nice enough though and we wished him well on his journey. :)

Aw man, I want an ordinary. Not to tour on, just to ride around making (more of) a fool of myself with.
