So I was riding and my bike and noticed my cadence wasn't registering.....I looked down and my cadence magnet was gone! (this happend the other day and I found it, today no luck) So I have 2 questions, how do I get another one and is there a better way to mount it? I have Shimano cranks that have a little "hollow" on the back side of them, I had the magnet mounted as the instructuons stated. Any ideas? I guess I could shoe goo in addition to the zip tie?
Thanks,
Chris

I ordered a different magnet from another source. It had a much better mounting system, (the zip tie went through the magnet) along with the double face tape. It nestled nicely into that little hollow on the the back of the crank. I want to say I ordered it from Sigma, but I don't remember just now (advanced CRS). I would look it up but I am alas at work at present.

I used a cateye cadence magnet that I already had on the bike. It works well. A 'cross racer I know superglued a rare earth magnet to his crankarm, and that worked perfectly as well.
