I'm trying to find the right cassette removal tool for this Shimano cassette.
It's a 7 speed that was on a 105 group road bike. Old first gen 105 stuff, but a typical Park FR-5 type removal tool is too small of a diameter, and not the right spline count/type.
Any idea what I need to pull this cassette off?

You need two chainwhips to remove that cassette. The smallest cog is threaded onto the freehub body and holds all the other cogs, which are splined, and spacers in place. Put one chainwhip on the third or fourth cog and the other one on the first (smallest) cog, facing in opposite directions. The threading is right-handed so you'll want to turn the small cog counter-clockwise. It'll probably take a good bit of oomph to get it loose.

And just so you know, it's a Uniglide cassette. They are a little hard to find but some places still sell individual replacements. LooseScrews has a few options:

oh mine is in good shape for now. I just need to remove it to get to the freehub under it momentarily before I put it back on.
Thanks for that though. If it ever wears out I'll just more to an 8 speed wheelset and RD. The STI levers are 8/3 already anyway.
