It was quite a day today! I had a mechanical malfunction in the middle of a crosswalk, I was interviewed twice by newspaper reporters (one city, one school), and I took a ten-mile spin in a double-breasted wool blazer! Oh, yeah, we had the first annual May Day Bike Parade at SPSCC! It went off really well. We must have had well over a dozen riders, ringing bells and tooting horns, flowers in helmet vents, tossing candy around...all in all, a rather fun day. Here are the pictures I took. The gal who was going to take them for me bailed, so I didn't get any of the parade proper :( , but maybe some will come my way from the school photog's. I hope this link works; otherwise, I'll just paste the pics in here rather than trying to mess with linking the album.

ETA: the link works for me, but it may just be me, so let me know otherwise.

The page is password protected. Can you set the pictures to public? (I use flickr, this is the option one chooses to allow others to view. I don't know what photobucket requires.).

In Sheldon's honor, I didn't ride alone.

Hrey thanks, that's actually me he interviewed, and the I know the teacher as well. She's the one with the Earth cape in one of the pictures. I didn't see the Olympian guys at school, though I did plug the parade to them.

Looks as if you had fun :D .

I wish I could have been there--I rode to my appointment on my bike, and it was a lovely day for a ride!

Definitely more parade-friendly than today. Although I likely won't have to work a lunch shift today :D :D
