Clydesdales/Athenas (200+ lb / 91+ kg) - My First Metric Century!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I am embarrassed to say how long it took me but I did it! I finished with 102 kilometres and change. Now to try for a regular Century before the end of this season! A few rollers and 1 itty bitty hill. Hey! It was still a Metric though!:D
Good job, PATH!!!
Just add a couple more hours to your ride and you'll have that Imperial. Do you mind sharing your nutrition and water intake?

Don't be embarrassed, because there's nothing to be embarrassed about. Congratulations. More details on the ride, please?

Great work PATH! 102km is still 102km weather it takes you three hours or twenty hours. Nothing to be embarrassed about. Care to share a bit more about the ride?

Congratulations! Did my first one a while back and have yet to repeat it! Don't worry about the time, just doing the deed is great.

You are too modest PATH! It's wonderful knowing that you just finished a metric. It's so much more than many of us could ever have imagined in the past.
Congratulations!

Well the ride was mostly flat. I finished three large water bottles and two energy bars. Geez was I sore the next day. You guys are the inspiration that keeps me going! Thanks for all the support!
Good job on your first metric! You're moving in the right direction! Congrats!
