I love this stuff. You can put it on anything, salad, sandwhiches, add it to sauces, whatever. It's not that hot, but very flavorful. Just passing along the love.

I use that stuff all the time.

My favorite hot sauce! It goes on pizza, burgers, fries...anything, really. And it doesn't have that vinegary bite like alot of other hot sauces do.

I love it, but to me it's like ketchup... It's got good flavor but not enough heat for me anymore. :(

Fantastic sauce.

Try mixing with water, water 1:2 sauce. I find it brings out the flavour and spiciness a bit more.

My favorite uses are black beans and peanut sauce.

Yeah, I don't use it for heat. If I want something hot, I drip on some Dave's Insanity Sauce.

It's awesome- but yeah, it's not really hot, more like ketchup. It's all about the garlic and the tanginess, though.

My mom complains that everything I cook tastes like sriracha...

You're making me hungry! My pretzel sticks and peanut butter pale in comparison to a stir fry with soy and sriracha.

I love it, but always forget the name.

I call it Rooster Sauce.

mix it with some mayo for a great crab-cake dipping sauce. Happyfeet taught me that one.

It depends on how you mentally classify oatmeal. It doesn't fall into the maple syrup group for me, I'm more likely to put cheese and sausage into it, but just the sriracha is dandy and simpler (no cheese chopping/sausage frying)

It's OK, just a bit weak to someone like myself that has a hotsauce collection of over 40 varieties. Tastes a bit too much like ketchup.

Vietnemese Chili-Garlic sauce. By the same makers of the Sriracha sauce but this has a little more heat and a pronounced garlic flavor. Believe me, a little goes a long way!

There used to be an artsy fartsy burrito place near emory university, called Burrito Art. They had this jamaican jerked chicken burrito with pineapple salsa. I would get that and drench it in siracha. That was an awesome lunch....probably responsible for a good 20lbs around my waist back then. Sadly, that place is no longer in business there and I don't work in that area anymore.

I thought my taste buds were burned out. I'm surprised you people find that stuff too mild. That chicken sauce is still plenty hot to me.
I put it on sweetcorn. Either canned, frozen, or on the cob.

I will try it mixed with mayo on fish sticks.

That's why I also keep a bottle of the vinegary stuff on the table. For when I don't want the garlic. Like on eggs.

Yup...I keep a few of the 'vinegary' style hot sauce around for those times too. ;)

jgedwa.....not really referencing your post, but your avatar. I had my wife's aunt and cousin over this last week. Friday night we wanted to watch a movie and they were going through my DVDs. When they came across Billy Jack, her aunt stopped us, "MUST SEE BILLY JACK". My wife has heard me talk about it, but didn't believe me that it was a cult classic. She was stunned that her aunt had even heard of it much less wanted to see it again. :)

As a matter of fact I just had some for lunch - on my brown rice and green beans - from my bottle that is a permanent fixture in the company refrigerator.

for vinegar I just go for the Crystal:

(or Fred's, Durkee, Tabasco...)

they're different foodgroups.

That's my lunch too. Well, beans black instead of green.

I'm happy with Tabasco (actually hooked on the Chipotle right now); I'll try Durkee too.
Anyone ever mess with Sriracha, adding some vinegar, etc?

I am several months late in responding, but:

Even though the Billy Jack movies are really, really, really bad, I love Billy Jack. There is just something
70's-tastic about them. And, since I watched them as a kid, there is the nostalgia appeal too. Funny thing is that I remember them as being full of kick-fighting, but when I watched them again as an adult I see that there is about 2 minutes of fighting in each movie. They are sloooooow. But still, he is the coolest.

nectar of the gods.

I heard it first on BF. I've NEVER until this moment have thought of oatmeal as anything other that a sweet grain. My culinary brain is now thinking as to how I could use this more as a savory grain instead. The big plus, is the reduction in simple carbs.

Very interesting........

RIGHT THE SAUCE!!!!! Asian ketchup for me, liquid h*ll for the wife...lol
