Hey all... just an update to let you all know that I purchased a new Trek 2300 58cm... I love it!!
Any suggestions for upgrades? i.e. wheels, bars, tires, etc... what, if any, are the weak points on the 2300 or is it a solid bike?
Thanks for all your help!

Looking at the specs on the site and seeing one at work I'd say its definitely a very solid bike. Of course new pedals and a saddle are recommended if you have a preference over the ones they give you (or the lack of pedals in this case). I hope you enjoy the bike.

If you upgrade all that you listed, could'nt have just gotton the next 2 models up?
Ride and enjoy the bike now. Soon you'll realize where you want to spend the money and what you need.
