Hi everybody,
I have been riding to commute to work off an on for about seven years and previously ridden a bit of single track. I have started to ride a bit more seriously in the last couple years. In the last year I commuted year round and have started some distance riding as well. I am doing it largely for fun, to try to keep from getting fat, to replace my previously obssesive climbing habit, and to help out on the environmental front. I currently ride a TREK 820.
I ran accross the site this afternoon while searching for some bike gear and was favourably impressed by the thoughtful and courteous postings that I saw.
I am looking forward to lots of insightful future dialogue.
