Have you ever used Chevron gas, or shopped at a Chevron gas station? Just wondering if you had good or bad experiences... is the Gas good quality? I have been thinking of switching brands. Any info helpful. Thanks.

I only use Chevron because Chevron is the only place I can get 94octane.

They seem good enough. My gf is being funded by them to go to grad-school (wetland research for their oil-drilling in the Sudan) so I could be biased.

A friend of mine used to work there in their chemical department. He tells me it's by far the best gas you can put in your car. Suggests Techron is great for your motor.
I pump at a lot of places though, I never notice a difference between fill ups.

It has a slightly sweeter taste and a fruitier bouquet than Exxon vintages to me, but I only drink the 87, and never with red meat.

no red meat? You haven't lived till you've tried a nice porterhouse with a medium bodied 89 octane! The mix of fat with the octanes is just divine. Follow it up with a nice fuel injector cleaner and your set.

Our only choices around here are cheap 85, and slightly less cheap 89. To get anything as tasty as 91, we have to drive an hour. I never drink anything less than 91; it just doesn't agree with my palate.

The tanker that fills my local Chevron tanks also drives down a little further and fills the Texaco tanks.
Fuel is fuel. The difference, if any, is what detergents are added.

I've also seen the tanker that fills the Maverik station here also fill the Sam's Club.
Frankly, I use what ever place is cheapest and throw a bottle of Techron in about every oil change.

The only refinery in the area is owned by Chevron. If that doesn't convince people that all gas is the same, I don't know what will.
