This seems to be a long shot, but would anyone have any ideas as to where I'd find a track axle to fit this? I have already contacted Zipp directly and they said I could get it re-hubbed. This means $350 and a new hub for it...last resort only. Should I prepare to make my own? Sam

Zipp doesn't seem to want to provide parts for any of their older discs. I actually sent a couple of those old track discs in for rebuilding last year. The advantage is that you could also buy a road cassette body and use the wheel in time trials if you do them. It would also have much better resale value. On the other hand, you could probably get a machine shop to make you an axle as the people around here who use Cervelo P3s (130 spacing) on the track have done.
