Classic & Vintage - What's with the Related Searches on ebay?

Normally, I only need 2 keywords to do 95% of my searching. Cinelli goes to Pogliaghi, to Olmo, to Rossin, to Legnano and finally to Frejus. Then I would do Fiamme to Magistroni, to Balilla, to handlebar cage, to Regina Oro, to Regina Gran, to Regina freewheel, to Atom freewheel to 4-speed freewheel to 3-speed freewheel.

The first string still works but the second doesn't. This has happened in the past but it usually fixed itself in a day but not this time. Has anyone else noticed a change?

I'm sorry, but I have no idea what you're talking about. What's the first string, and what's the second? And what do the "to"s mean in your description? Sorry to be so dense.

The eBay syntax for "or" is words within parens, separated by commas. Any combination of words (or "or" modules within parens) separated by spaces operates as an "and", and anything preceded by a hyphen is a "not". For example:
(cinelli, poliaghi, rossin) -(touring, randonneur) vintage frame
would find vintage frames by any of those three manufacturers, but leave out auctions with "touring" or "randonneur" in the title (or description, if you have that box checked).

If I do a key word search on Cinelli, in the subsequent results page(s), directly below the search box, there is a line that says "Related Searches:" with hot links to "colnago, campagnolo, pogliaghi, masi, or browse this category"

That way I put in one search term and you can browse others without typing in their specific name.

So under cinelli, I will get a related search of pogliaghi. If I click on pogliaghi, I will get a related search of olmo, and so on.

Hmm -- I almost never do that. Sounds like you and the related-search-bot may no longer be in sync . . .

I just have a bunch of saved searches that I use regularly, and I extemporize from there by typing other keywords in the blank box at the top.
