What's normal price?
Hate to break it to you, downhill is not cheap, never has been never will be. Your best bet is to look for a used bike that is in really good shape, but don't be surprised if the asking price is still well over $1k.

What brands are you looking at and where in Canada are you? I get my bikes/frames cheaper from my LBS in Calgary than I ever could through the states.

I know its not cheap but i just wanna save as much money as i can i mean the bike i most want is an ironhorse sunday team and thats like $4000 canadian
