I've some old Mavic MA-40 (old box-type) rims on my Paramount... they've been flawless until I decided it to play around with some rollers I found for cheap. The crazy wobbling I've done on them seems to have done a good job at making my rear wheel come out of true. Are rollers a good idea for a 230lbs person?

I am 235 and I put on 1000 miles on my rollers this winter without any problems for my rims.

I put my rollers in a doorway, but I don't have any problems anymore. I could probably put them in the middle of the room and not have any problems, but I still ride in a doorway. I feel more comfortable that way.
