I've been pretty much entirely out of cycling since about October. First it was too cold, then I had track 5 days a week and it really took all the energy out of me. But now track is over and the weather is nice, and I'd really love to get back into cycling. I'm wondering if anyone can suggest any good rides in the area(preferably starting in Prescott) that are about 35-65 miles. I don't want to just hop back on the bike and try something too hard, so this seems like about the right length of ride for me.
Thanks guys!

you're talking about road right? I usually start off from my place get to whitespar and take that down a while its rolling at first (more of a little climb) then downhill for most of it.. turning around its opposite :P In terms of a lane, theres a fairly good shoulder most of the time, but there are some wicked turns (for cars) so sometimes I feel uneasy going down it, but nothing has happened to me yet, and as far as I can tell, people ride it all the time...
I'm planning on going tomorrow in the late afternoon, Ill distance my ride exactly and post back. (itll be kind longer though since Im starting off at prescott lakes) but I dont think the ride should be anywhere in the rage of 65+ miles.
Climb over Mingus Mountain to Clarkdale and back. Super-workout!
