i recently picked up an original cross-check (the blue framesets made with reynolds) and the fork has a bit of a dent and bend to it. i'd like to replace it with a new surly fork, but i'm wondering if the geometry changed at all with the newer frames. i see that jenson offers a cross-check fork in 1" threadless so i thought that might be a good move given that the original fork is 1" threaded (at least on mine..)

so does anyone know if the new fork has a drastically different rake or anything or should i be fine?
