Howdy,

Found a nice frameset about a month ago, and am having trouble identifying it for certain. I'm wanting to restore it, but insist on doing it as it originally was, without mis-labeling.

The most distinguishing feature is the large "K" cutout on the bottom of the bottom bracket hanger. Also, has verical dropouts, sloped crown on the forks, over the bb cable guides, Tange front dropouts, and Suntour rear. Downtube shifter bosses, one bottle braze-on set, english bb threading, and serial number KH 05653 -- interestingly, this number looks like a serial number for a Nishiki Professional. The rear triangle was originally chromed, and the main lugs have a "tulip" cutout like a Somec, and not like a Koga-Miyata where the bottom of the tulip curves up then back down. The frameset is nicely done, and silver soldered, not brazed.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Steve Dahlquist
