Anyone have experience with Performance XPR recumbents? Good, bad, or ????? (No connection I'm aware of to Performance Bike Shops by the way).

My vague impression is that the Performance line is very similar to other decent Taiwanese bikes like Actionbent and TW/Bents but at a higher price.

Good bikes but you must be prepared to do a lot of tweaking. The componentry is all sort of grab bag - they put whatever is on hand on the bike. That means you get stuff that frankly doesn't work right. If you're not a good mechanic you're looking at the wrong bike. If you are, buy just a frameset and put your own stuff on it.
