Hey all, I am in the market for some new wheels for my swobo sanchez...

The thing is, I want to spend less than $200.. Is it going to be feasible to say I will buy a solid pair for that price range? I have been looking around and I found these (http://flybikeshop.com/itemdetails.cfm?catalogId=39&id=433) . What other options would I have to purchase? Thanks for the help.

i vote cxp22 to formula off of bicyclewheels.com
dp-18 to formula would work as well if you want colors or whatever.

Are the stock wheels toast? For $200 you probably won't get much of an upgrade, but the ones you linked to look fine. I had a set of the wheels ahand mentions and they worked well for me.

Yeah from the stock Sanchez wheels to those you're basically looking at just different colors.

Anyone have experience with the Weinmenn DP-18's? Just a cheep Velocity deep V knock off?

My friend has a Sanchez and her wheelset is basically a Formula/Weinmann setup.

I had a set for a while, they were fairly heavy but tough as nails. I really liked the formula hubs as well. At one point after being locked out side all fall (it rain a ton) the nuts were rusted tight but the hubs still spun smooth as when I got them. New nuts and they were as good as new.

I have a set. Good deal for the money. One needed to be trued right out of the box.

You could get deep v's/fusion/aeroheads w/ formula hubs for less than $200. PM if you want the name of the person I bought my wheels off of on ebay.

My front is toast and I am using a wheel from my lemond. the sheer weight difference I can feel is making me look into replacing both with non-deep v style wheels...

Gotcha, I assumed it was an upgrade situation. Replacement is a different story, carry on.
