Hi, just signed up. I am grateful for and impressed by the knowledge and experience shared by everyone on these forums. I've been mountain biking now for just over a year, riding usually about 3 days a week. I've always been interested in cycling, on and off road and commuting, but never really got into it much until now. I am currently riding an 04 Stumpy FSR Expert. Originally from CA now in CO, an Army vet now software engineer, and married with 2 boys. That's about it.

Thanks for the welcome. Eventually I'd like to get a road bike, but budget wise, it will have to wait. The question is how long can I put it off. Reading all the skinny tire postings doesn't make it any easier. You are all a bad influence on my checkbook :) .
