Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Howdy - can anyone advise me on the availability of Dura Ace EX (7200) brake calipers?
I'm rebuilding a 1981 Team Miyata frameset (shooting for original equipment), and I'm wondering if I should snap up the first such pair that come along, or if I should shop around...
Thanks in advance!

Teams were sold as complete bikes or as frame sets. If I recall correctly the bikes were all Dura Ace EX (except for the bars? Nitto?) unless you had a Team SL (Campy SR) or Aero (Dura Ace AX.) I had a Team frame set from that era and it was a mix of Dura Ace, Superbe, and TTT. Non-Dura Ace components from the era would also be appropriate. Just something to consider.

Im pretty sure I have a set including brake levers with gum hoods in reasonable condition. PM me if you're interested. Shipping would be from across the pond though ..
Edit: I checked, calipers are in great condition, everything original, gum hoods are exremely dry and fragile.
