I'm planning on doing the Wheelmen Trainer this Saturday from the Rose Bowl. I'll probably go as far as Newcombs. http://www.lawheelmen.org/

Hi Vert Bob,

I plan on doing this too, since I'm a member and I'm training for a south of France cols biking vacation. What gear do you normally wear for this type of ride? I've never been up there so I'm unsure what to expect. I'm slow, but once I make up my mind to go up a hill I always finish.:p

Don't believe it, It can get cold up there this time of year. I would bring a minimum of a vest and arm warmers. Would love to join Bob, but I'm out of town - again.

I might actually be up for this one, but I might have to turn back if my knee starts giving me problems again. I think I really need to get my bike fitted. Trial and error seems to be having too many errors.
