Hi,

On my '74 Motobecane the rear brake cable is held to the top tube by two chrome clamps. The screws are rusted, and I'm pretty sure the only way to remove them (and thus replace the cable housing) will be to destroy they (though I'm soaking the screws with oil overnight in case that works.

So my question is, where can I get replacements, or substitutes? Does anyone even know what they are called? Thanks.

They're called top-tube clamps or brake-cable clamps and usually are installed in sets of three. You can find them on eBay or I see that First Flight bikes sells them for $3 each plus shipping:
