Not much to brag about. I went to my daughter's high school and took something she had forgotten. I then went to the grocery store and picked up a few things we needed. I took them home and then went to my LBS to get a couple of items I needed. About 10 miles total.

Nothing too great, but it's a start. I really want to do this.

Edwardsville!? I used to live in O'Fallon! I actually grew up there. Ever been to Woods Bakery? I envy anyone who can go there on a daily basis... mmmMMMmmm sprinkle donuts. Good on you with the commuting! :D It's nice to live so close to your daughter's school, huh? I lived about a mile from OTHS and remember biking to school all the time. Some good schools in that area. Here's to many more bike commutes for you!

Starting is half the battle...or more. Congrats on getting out there!

Nice! It's wonderful how simple errands become enjoyable. Life isn't something that happens once the errands and tasks are done...it's the whole process. I wish you all the best!

Sounds like an awesome start to me! The way I look at it is; every mile helps...you and everybody else (whether they know it or not!)
