Came across this...

I was thinking of getting one, but then again it's got that giant eyesore comcast building in it.

I might be wrong, but I think this jersey predates the Comcast Tower (yuk)- what you see there was originally built in the 90s as the AT&T building, I believe.
I thought that too, but the Bell Atlantic/Verizon tower is to the right of the monstrosity I think, given the fact that the comcast bldg towers over the mellon bldg, liberty 1 & 2. I work across the street there at Two Logan and watched that thing go up... I'm still on the fence about it's effect on our skyline (although I dislike comcast with a passion :) ).
I think I'll still grab a jersey though - gotta support the team

Yeah- on second thought, I think you're right. I used to live at 20th and Cherry and watched the AT&T and what we called the "Linpro Building" (at 20th and Market- the Blue Cross building) go up, as well as the two Logans. Helluva lot of racket in those days!
In spite of the prominence of the Comcast, I'll probably get one too- I really like the color scheme, and we gotta represent!
BTW, what do you think of the LEDs on the Cira Centre? Personally, I think they're ugly, mainly because of the office lights, which tend to interfere with the color pattern, and the LEDs and the office lights together interfere with the crystal effect of the building- at dawn it looks like a giant quartz crystal, and you lose that at dusk. They should have thought about that... It is cool, though to stop on the Belmont Plateau or the top of Lemon Hill at dusk and look at the skyline. Unfortunately, the Comcast sort of wrecks it- I think it's way too glunky and not at all interesting.
Couldn't agree more about the cira centre. It's not a bad looking piece of architecture during the daylight hours, but those lights are terrible. From time to time it'll have something interesting - like a ribbon, or a red cross - but the light show type thing it does is pretty lame. If you want a light show, gotta go to Hong Kong, otherwise, forget it. (gratuitous Hong Kong photo gallery plug - light show a few pages in: http://s261.photobucket.com/albums/ii66/grahny/Hong%20Kong/). On top of the cheesy lights, it's in such a bad location for an office building. I know guys that work over there and they hate it. Just to get to any other office in the financial district they're either hauling their butts down JFK Blvd on foot or getting a taxi - plus there's zero places to eat other than 30th st.
It was very interesting to see the comcast building go up I will say. The office I work in is on the 18th floor of Two Logan, with east and south views, so we could see right down into the foundation and watch it all happen. Really amazing how quickly a building like that can go up. Unfortunately, i think it killed the skyline too - it's bland and just a boring shape. It doesn't compliment the rest of the city at all and just seems out of place to me.
