At the Cat's Hill Criterium (http://www.catshill.org/) on Saturday, the 35+ Cat 4/5 (http://www.usacycling.org/results/index.php?permit=2008-522) field had a guy who broke away from the very competitive field for several laps. It was amazing to see him fly up that hill with a 23% grade. He was eventually pulled in, and I think he ultimately DNF'd [not so, read below] but for a while there he was basking in glory, and everyone was scratching their head to figure out how a guy this big could be so fast in a crit with a significant hill. I've read too many other threads in several forums where the others laugh at this sort of thing. Not so much of a poster boy when you think about it!

I'm thinking when it comes down to it, the last guy to cross the line beat him!:(

Actually, I think this is Peter Tousignant, and he did finish, 17th, in the the 35+ Cat 4/5. So he finished in the main group. His DNF was on the Cat 4 race, which was earlier that day.
