Did the B race, Cat 4 & 5, juniors & women. 40 min. +2 laps.
Spent 40-50% of the race on the front.
Got in some mini attacks just to make them chase.
Went back to about 5th at 35 min. to rest.
2nd wheel into the last corner.
Sprinted for the win!
Asked if I could try the A race next week, they said sure.

Avg. speed 24
Avg. HR 171 after the cool down
Max. HR 185
What a workout.

just give credit to the new bike ;). i will be up to those after exams are over. that is a huge avg hr number. nice job, shayne.

I heard someone say they had between 35 & 40, not sure though.

Nick won the A race, just nipping Kyle. They passed us twice.

Nice job Shayne. That's how you get faster. Attack on the second lap and hammer. :D The A's are a different ballgame though. I made that leap and it hurts when Kyle, Gamm and Abe get out there.
