What is the deal with fitness centers? My wife and I got a free month membership, so we are trying it out again. Today I remembered why I quit going the first time.

I go into the locker room to get my bike bag and helmet and some dude comes around the corner with his towel over his shoulder.:eek: WTF, I do not want to see that. Why is it that even though there are dressing areas in front of the shower, guys think it is okay to walk an extra 100 ft to the locker. Then they just sit there for a while and try to carry on a conversation. If I want to see something naked I want a locker in the womens room. Even the worst of them is better than some dude. There is a hot tub and a steam room in the locker room too. Old guys hang out there. There is something seriously wrong with two or more guys sharing a hot tub naked.

I told my wife I am going to take some viagra and then go hang out in there. I wonder if it would stop some of them. Just give em a stare and a "Whats up." "How you doin."

Some are more comfortable with nudity than others.

Hahah, I remember taking a crammed shower with 60+ other naked guys in a boot camp. You get over your insecurities pretty quickly.

It is an american thing. I mean not to walk naked around the locker room. In europe it is completely normal.

Other cultures, naked is not a worry in some contexts. Even public Coed naked.

I played ball in school. I was in basic. Its not an insecurity issue. Its just something I don't want to see. I can understand going from the shower to the locker. But don't sit down and try to carry on a conversation. Cover your junk. And the hot tub thing is just not right. I work with about 60% ex-navy guys. They would/will do anything for the shock and awe effect. They would get the command to relax poopy suits and would try to see if they could finish their rounds with nothing on. And now, they even complain about getting naked guyed.

We had friends in http://www.m-vp.de/english/0251.htm while ago. He was a vice principal of a high school, she was german teacher in the same school. One daughter around 14 back then. They literally spent the whole summer on a beach, but I don't think they even had any swimsuits, never saw them wearing one. The whole town Breege was doing the same thing - sooo if you were a high school kid, you could meet your teachers naked on a beach. :eek: :)

let's see. got let go of my job at the bike shop because i am a medical risk. my doctor agrees with my boss. I am going to see if i can get htis all in writing to see if it helps my disability case. odds are it wont.

umm they say that there may be lesions on my brain, they are not sure. I have to go home for further review soon. which means experimental drugs. an implant. or brain surgery. odds are brain surgery will be the only cure. but that would mean more memory loss and a personality change.
