Mountain Biking - New fork for the second season

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I got a killer deal on a new fork. Lucky for me, I can ride nearly year round out here in Victoria...unlike certain people from Whistler on the board. :p
What started out as a new tire soon spiraled out of control and this is what I am left with. Happy Xmas to me I guess. But really, the deal was so good, I had to do it. Once I sell my old fork, this is only a $150 upgrade instead of $1000.

What travel is that on that fork? Are you sure that fork is compatible with your head tube?
Nice rig :D

I am pretty sure (not 100%) that brodie warranties with a dc fork. It is similar to the Kona Roast of 2002 and Kona was offering full warranties on dc forks...:)

It has 7" of travel. I think the bike is designed to handle 8". Everything feels right so far, infact, better than alright, it's downright amazing. The shop has looked at it and never said anything other then "sweet ride", so I think I'm ok. :)
