A friend of mine sent this to my club mailing list. Anyone interested? This is an inexpensive, fully-supported ride that is organized by the ACTC bike club. If you're interested, PM me and I can hook you up. You will need to register directly with ACTC after he transfers the spot to you.
The ride has been sold out since January, but there is a waiting list and spots do show up from time to time. If my friend's spot is taken, you may still have a chance to get in.

I signed up for ACTC's Sierra-to-the-Sea bike ride, but due to family
commitment, will not be able to participate. Would one of you like to take
my place? ACTC tells me that, for a fee, I can transfer my place to another
cyclist,. I will pay the cancellation fee, so you will only need to pay the
normal registration fee.
Sierra-to-the-Sea starts on June 14. The tour is a 7 day, budget priced,
fully supported very scenic, bike ride from Bear Valley in the Sierras,
through Napa and Calistoga, to San Francisco. It is organized and supported
by the ACTC cycling club. The ride is very popular and it sold out soon
after the registration opened in January.
ACTC provides transportation from San Jose to the tour start and from San
Francisco back to San Jose. They also haul your gear from town to town and
provide most meals.
