yoo, i've read some other threads on beginner bmxers asking what kind of bikes they should get, but i haven't been satisfied yet.

i'm new to bmx, i have some experience in other action sports, not including bikes.
i'm 14, weigh about 130lbs,im 5'7, and i'm looking to spend up to $350 on a new complete bike. i can spend a little over my budget, but no more then $50 more. i am willing to buy extra parts to mod bike if necessary.
i've been looking on danscomp.. saw a few bikes but i'm not sure what to get.
some of my friends say good starter bikes are eastern's and fit bikes. i've been going by that so far.

all suggestions are appreciated, ty.

THREAD CLOSED.

i decided, and I ordered a premium duo 08. ty for help

eastern and fit are both really good starter bikes. my personal preference would be a fit, because they put sealed BB bearings in all of their completes. plus they have a load of wicked good parts that they also use on their completes. but again thats just me. you may want to do a little bit more research and figure out which one will best suit your riding style.

thanks. i did some more research.. decided i want a cheaper bike..
im down to deciding between an eastern traildigger or a fit pro trail bike.
which one is better for a beginner street/trail rider?

Both those bikes are terrible for street.
The forks will be on a 45 degree angle after a week.
Spend more money for more chromooooooo.

Someone recommended an Eastern complete? What's the world coming to?

bmxn00b

haha. maybe my friends are wrong.
i've ridden the traildigger before, my friend has it, it seems to be nice. i have never ridden any other bike except for a premium duo, which another friend of mine let me ride. prem duo is nice.. but is it good for street/trails?

I love my eastern for street and trails...

Why does everyone hate on Eastern?

FitRider 921

Eastern has a history of doing stupid things and their bikes self-destructing.

ChristAir

But what about their parts?

minichamp31

Very good choice on the Duo. Good bike for the price. It seems like Premium is getting to be more competition for brands like Fit, DK, etc.

That would be weird. One day, you walk up to your bike and...BOOM! Flaming metal everywhere!

But what about their parts?

Thanks for asking!!

I put the headset in 3 peices. (the cup)

Their bars snap.

And explode.
