Why do some bikes havef that small chain holder in front. You know where it was teeth for the chain? The one in the front. Why do some have really small ones? Is it a big advantage? Thanks!

In any chance that this is actually a serious post,
A smaller chainwheel or sprocket at the front makes your bike lighter and gives more clearance on ramps and what-not.
Although some people like it bigger at the front as it is stronger in their opinion.
Keep in mind you have to keep the right gear ratios.

To further bmx2478's post. Right now, your freewheel is bigger than 13 teeth at least; thus, you have to run a large sprocket (36-44) in the front in order to have the right gear ratio. A cassette is a "freewheel" with the mechanism on the inside of the hub, therefore the "freewheel" can be decreased to 9-12 teeth. With 9-12 teeth, you must run a small sprocket (25-30 teeth) in order to maintain the right gear ratio.
