hey I have just begun a 30mile/day commute plus i play tennis and other fun active things.
I was wondering if I should be doing anything special for my nutritional routine?
Right now I eat well (i know whats healthy and what isnt to a quite high degree) and I just try to eat a lot since im always hungry (not quite 4000 calories)
I use whey protien after a bike ride
Should I be trying to get any specific after cycling, like a carb heavy meal?

4K calories is plenty for 30 miles.
that's about an hour each way commute...you really don't need to do anything special for that distance. Make sure you get some water in the mornings and probably some easily digested carbs before your AM ride. If your weight is consistent and energy levels are good you don't need to change anything you are doing.

Pretty good site and free. Lots of info there.
