Mark Your Calendar: Please attend the Frisco Parks and Recreation Monthly Board Meeting. Thursday the 8th at 6:30pm. There will be a discussion about the re work of the 2002 Hike and Bike Master Plan. Held at the George A. Purefoy Municipal Complex in the Council Chambers. Come show your support.
Our Club's May meeting, held at RBM Frisco this coming Monday the 12th at 7:15pm. Come join the discussion of what the club has done this last Month and our future goals.

Memorial Day Ride: Mark your calendar for Monday May 26th, Memorial Day. FCC will host the first annual Memorial Day ride. Routes and start times are being finalized now so watch for upcoming email updates. We will have routes of varying distances to suit all skill levels. Afterwards we'll be grilling hamburgers and hot dogs for anyone who wants to hang out. So plan to ride on Memorial Day and be on the lookout for additional information on routes and start times. The Clothing Is On The Street: Have you seen the new kit, do you own or want clothing from FCC? Here is what we have left and a fill in order has been placed. In that next order we will have women's jersey's and shorts offered.
Long Sleeve Jerseys, $65 each- we have 3 mediums
Bib Shorts, $65 each- we have 1 medium, 2 large and 1 XL
Shorts, $55 each- we have 1 XL
Vests, $48 each- we have 2 medium, 2 large and 1 XL
Jackets, $70 each- we have 3 medium and 6 larges
Short Sleeve Skinsuits, $118- we have 2 XS, 1 small, 2 larges
Arm Warmers, $20 each- we have 5 medium and 6 larges

Did You See Us On The Road? - The City of Frisco held it's Clean it Green it event a few weeks back. And several members of FCC meet before the RBM Saturday ride to clean up our street- John Hickman Parkway. Hope you will come join us next quarter when we clean again!

Each category will race it's 3 events consecutively.
NO STOPPING. NO RESTING. NO KIDDING.
Scratch Race -- Unknown Distance -- Miss n' Out
$800 CASH AVAILABLE TO THOSE
THAT MANAGE TO FINISH.
Starting Order:
Cat 3, Cat 4, Jr Open/15-16, Elite 1&2, Masters 4, W4, Masters, W123 Youth 10-12 & 13-14 will use a traditional format between the other events
Pre-register for $20 at bikereg.com from 5/12 - 5/21. On-site registration is $30. Additional category $5.

Celebrate National Bike Month NATIONAL BIKE MONTH:
1. Take someone out on your favorite ride. Maybe on May 16th on Bike To Work Day!
2. Share the joy and take your mayor or other elected official on a ride. Also, tell them about the Bicycle Friendly Community Program.
3. Find a local and/or statewide Bike Month event to take part in.
4. Organize a Bike Month or Bike to Work Week event in your community.
5. Help the League spread the word about bicycling!

Rides FCC Runs or Participates
In:
Sunday Recovery Ride Leaves Sunday mornings at 8am, average 15-16mph. We vary the routes depending on the wind direction, always try to finish with a tailwind and a positive attitude. This ride is led by Al Brodie and Joel Hoback and meets in the parking lot at the Superdrome
Tuesday Tempo Ride Leaving from Target (El Dorado and Legacy) Tuesdays at 5:30. This ride winds through west Frisco, Little Elm and even touches The Colony. The pace is 15-17. Bring a tail light for this one as we finish right at dusk. This ride is led by Jack Anderson and Joel Hoback.
Windhaven with Marino. Independent ride that leaves from Cafe Gecko in Austin Ranch on Windhaven. 10 mile loops with many group levels.
Saturday Frisco RBM ride. Ride led by RBM with many rider levels and departs at 9am.
