i have no idea how im gonna go with the specifics....any suggestions would be welcome.....few I know Kris King head, azonic handle bars, thompon stem....im thinking xt for the rest but im not sure, i hate putting shimano on my bikes, i like putting smaller names on it makeing it more me. fork should have about 120mm travel i gather, I think i will build my own wheels with some big ass spokes. Its been a while since ive done this so im lacking for names of good manufacturers, when I got into it Ritchey was the sheet but I hear that they have fallen off of late.
So like I said any suggestions would be very welcome.
Yea the Instigator is a nice bike at a good price. I may get one before college through the shop.

You can't swing a dead cat at an Interbike tradeshow without hitting a new mountain bike manufacturer popping up everyday!
I would look at how some of the bikes at the Unreal Cycles gallery have their bikes set up. There are a couple of Instigators there too.

Also consider what the primary use is for: freeriding, technical trails, dirtjumping? How much your budget is, etc.
