Just bought a PB SuperFlash and love it... only problem is that the clip/mount seems a little loose. It doesn't take much force for me to bump it out of its holder. (Yes, it is facing the correct way. ;)) I have a rubber band wrapped around it to help keep it in place, but I'm afraid a good thunk from a pothole or something may pop it out.
Is this a common "flaw" on SuperFlashes or do I have a defective one? :D

My superflash fits snugly in the chainstay clamp.
There's a locking tab that clicks when the Superflash is fully inserted into the holder channel. You bend the tab back to release the light. There should be no problem with it falling out. Yours may be defective. People have more trouble with the whole half of the light popping off after a hard bump.
I bet if you send an email to Planet Bike through their web site they would send you a replacement. They're a standup company.
I had a superflash that fell out of the mount while I was riding. The next one I purchased, I used epoxy to bond the back of the superflash to the mount. You can still replace the battery (pop the cover off) and remove the light if needed (unscrew the mount).
If you push on the plastic mount the opposite way that you do to release it a little bit, you can make the super flash mount more snugly. I discovered this after one of mine popped off into the middle of the highway this week and I had to retrieve it after several cars drove over it and luckily didn't hit it.
