EEEEKKKERS!! I mean I was just informed our office group is moving downstairs into a suite (does a seal handclap, way too many times) but then I looked around and EGADS! I have stuff and so minimized but your desk is waaaaaaay too untouchable!!! -- What do you do that requires the scope ---- and I'm curious as to the figures above desk? I mean if you want to divulge. Unless you decide to state this desk is not yours. And what's with the 300 post-it notes anyway?

Snit! I could have made this at least 6 posts. ARRRGH! I just keep getting FURTHER BEHIND!!!

Well, it's not that much stuff really. Acouple of xerox paper boxes should be able to hold most of the important stuff. The stack of newspapers is actually about 4 or 5 years old... I just haven't bothered to toss them out (and i already have the important ones saved at home). The boxes under the clock can also be thrown out but again, i'm being lazy and nobody needs the shelf space yet. I actually keep all the really important stuff in the drawers on both sides of my desk. :)

I'm a cytotech (google it) so the microscope is important to me. :D It's chained and locked to the desk so hopefully nobody steals it.

As for the toys/figurines, on the shelf we have:

-Half Life Headcrab (plush doll on the left)
-Macross/Robotech Veritech fighter (white one in the middle)
-Alien Homonid (the 5 around the Veritech, you should recognize Carbonlife's old avatar)
-Neon Genesis Evangelion (the blue robot in the back and the 5 figurines on the right)
-The little blocky toy (far right, someone found it laying around and i just added it to the collection)
-Alcohol Squeeze Bottle (back far right, empty now but normally would hold rubbing alcohol, useful for cleaning the microscope) ;)
-Ghost in the Shell (mini bust of the main character on my monitor)
-Little figurine next to the Ghost in the Shell bust (got it as a random free gift when ordering something from www.yesasia.com)

Then behind the microscope is Optimus Prime (keeps the bad d00dz away from my microscope) and the Rubix Cube (also keeps the bad d00dz away by distracting them away from my microscope).

And the post-it notes are a collection of my thoughts i've accumulated over the last 6 years i've been working there. :D Very few of them are actually work related...
