I'm on a tight schedule. I've got an "A" race in two weeks and I don't want to loose anything I have built up over the last month due to work. So, I have done the early bird interval thing...4:30-5:30 for threshold and VO2 work.

OK, so here is the question:

I had to work last night and took the yesterday off.
I will do 90 min of SST this evening.

Can I do SST this evening and wake up tomorrow at 4:30am recovered to do an effective set of VO2s (5 min)?

Recovery time would be aprox 8-9 hrs. I generally recover pretty well and have done consecutive days of racing and hard training before, just not in a timeframe this tight...

Thoughts?

Thanks all!

And when you're as old as dirt, it'll take 72 hours.
