Introductions - Another Ohioan Introduction

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Howdy folks,
Been looking for a good 'net based cycling community for a while. I recently moved to pan-flat Dayton, Ohio and I'm sorely missing the rolling countryside of Lehigh Valley, PA. I've done a bit of racing on the track out there, but I primarily stick to the road these days.
Anyway, glad to be here!

Hello Andrew, if Dayton wasn't flat they wouldn't have that nice big air base there, right? But I sure would not trade you flat-as-a-pancake terrain for what I have here in Puget Sound!
What are you riding now?
Welcome to BF, and feel free to PM me with any questions :) !

Andrew you haven't seen flat Ohio unless you have been about 115 miles north of Dayton. I live in the Great Black Swamp area of the Glacial Plains. Here it is Teflon pan, laser level flat :)
Talk about flat, this area has no roll, no rise, no fall unless it is a tiny bit carved by a river. Most altitude gain you can get is a highway or railroad overpass. We are home to what is supposed to be the flattest century in the country.
Come on up sometime, we'll treat you to a down winder!
