booooo! i *so* wanted to ride this. alas, my bike-wise activities this weekend will be biking back and forth to work; i'm on call, too, so not much time for leisure.

Tomorrow morning at 7:00 a.m. I meet a buddy of mine. We'll ride between 35-60 miles. It just depends how we feel.

Well, I was going to get up early (or stay up late) to find a few hours when the temperature was under 3 digits to ride. But I left the bike leaning on the car in the driveway after running an errand today, and when I went out to put it away tonight both tires were blown out. :mad: So I guess I'll deal with that first.

I just read through a maintenance thread from a couple of months ago which very clearly establishes that it either absolutely must have been or could not possibly have been the (105 degree) heat that did it.

You know, I'm used to triple digit days in the SFV, but they usually come in late August and September. The combination of the hottest day of the year with the longest day of the year is not fun. :(

Lucky Baldwins IPA Festival (Craftsman IPA, no more & Russia defeated Holland) & maybe air up the mtb front tire. Then recline on the couch and watch the celing fan rotate. Big day.

This is final event of the Bob Hansing Memorial Cup Series. Come see district, national and world champion cyclists race single-speed, brakeless bicycles on a banked concrete oval at speeds in excess of 35 mph.

Come see Madison racing, which includes two-person teams slinging each other in and out of the race.

There will be music, concessions and free family fun.
