And I thought this would be easy. Converting flat bar to road bar, has V brakes, need to use road levers, trying not to spend money. Have extra road levers.

1. Mini-V Tektro are cheap and would fit, but no adjuster. Any aftermarket adjuster for the noodle? I couldn't find one, but might not be looking in the right place. My preferred solution.

2. Could convert to cheap cantilever, front hanger no problem, what do people use for rear hanger?

I may just dig up some long reach calipers. Probably some up in the shed.

But if I could just get those Mini-V adjusters . . . .

OK OK, I got it. Those Tektro RL720 Cross Levers have an adjuster. So any road lever plus the cross levers and Tektro Mini-V will let me adjust the brakes. Cool. This is for a touring/guide bike, so the extra levers will be fine. I won't be carrying excess load, so the mini-V should be fine.

It sounds to me like you're looking for the cheapest solution.

What you need is "noodles" that have a built-in barrel adjuster. QBP part number is BR7107. Most any LBS can get a pair for you. Retail price should be around six bucks.
