pitting on DiNotte engine due to winter salt?

Anybody having that problem? Or know of a solution? I checked out my lights and the front are fine but my beloved rear shows some corrosion. I can't really put it in a place where it won't get splashed next year. Oy.

Clean any salt off after every winter ride.

Wrap it up in a plastic baggie.

Install fenders.
