Griffith Observatory is open six days a week.

Weekdays (Tuesday-Friday)
Open Noon - 10:00 p.m.

Weekends (Saturday-Sunday)
Open 10:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Mondays
Closed

But on the weekends it's off the hook all Saturday and Sunday. Since it's mama's day Sunday it will be worse.

If you gf is a techy she'll definitely enjoy it, inside and out. Or were you planning on just strolling thru the observatory grounds? Just don't plan on spending too much time there.

I took a date there once for the Laserium show. That was back in 1975. I still remember the dress she was wearing that night. :p
