For any of you looking for work out there the US Census is in the earliest stages of gearing up for the 2010 Census. If you have a modicum of management talent and want $20 to $35/hour for a year or two of work call them. They are starting qualifying exams for jobs like Field Operations Supervisor and assistant Manager for Technology. They will not be looking for people to go door to door or to fold cardboard into tables until 2009.
