I have an old unknown brand hollow disc. It has some good dents and dings after however many hands and bikes it's travelled on. It's used by my dad and I for track racing and I just want some tips on checking how stable it is for the summer of racing (and track nationals) we intend to put on it.

I figured when I said "track" people would catch on that discs brakes didn't play into the matter at all.

This is a disc wheel, for clarification purposes (though my target audience would probably have figured that out).
