The lakes are almost forzen over, a week or two they'll be thick enough for cars and trucks. And dummies on bikes with studded tires. I am so looking forward to testing the new Nokians

I'm in that balmy city to the west, and I've only noticed the ice underwheel splattered upon the streets. Then again, I might be too preocupied to study a crust forming on Hariet! I'm looking forward to sailing across the lakes on my two wheels. I'm not super proficent at it, though, and would like to chat with others who have sugestions on how to stay upright when traversing sections where the wind has swept away snow that gives traction. I'd love to join others on a lake ride followed by a picnic, if there are similar nuts out there.
