I recently had a ti cross frame built up for me and the rear spacing did not come back the way that I requested. The shop sent the frame back to the builder to have it cold-set a second time to meet my requests.

Should I be worried about the integrity and strength of the frame given that it will essentially be taken apart and welded back together a second time?

Thanks in advance for all thoughts and assistance.

Cold-setting is a fancy term for bending. Standard framebuilding practice. No welding involved.

No worry about this unless the distance to too great. Ti is a major biotch to cold-set, and the metal likes to go back to it's original state - which is why your frame closed up I suspect.
